####BEWARE, 1.95 FOR A REVERSE SEARCH IS REASONABLE, BUT A MONTH LATER YOUR IN FOR IT FOR CHARGES EVERY MONTH FOR 20.00, AND YOU CANT CANCLE THEM UNLESS YOU WRITE IN OR PAY YOUR BANK A FEE TO ORDER A STOP PAYMENT. DO NOT TRY THEM OR UTILIZE THEIR SERVICES, THEY ARE CROOKS AND NOT TO BE TRUSTED....

Yes I see the fake response from Intelius - "just call us" unfortunately the phone is never answered and email goes no where.  You can send a certified letter to:

Also - call your credit card company immediately and dispute the charges. If this is coming out of your bank account you'll have to cancel the account and open a new one.  Call and email Intelius with a cancel notification. If you still don't get a response, file a complaint with both the BBB and the Attorney General of your state. Do a Google search on line regarding lawsuits against this company - there have been several filed where Intelius has paid out - proving they are guilty. There are other lawyers actively looking for victims in their particular state to file a class action lawsuit. Research and take action. Don't let them get away with it.

If you can't reach them on the phone # they give you try these 425-974-6101, 425-974-6102, 425-974-6103, etc - you will eventually get a hold of one of their execs.

Naveen Jain their CEO got in trouble with the SEC for miss representations on his previous company Infospace.  John Arnold thier EVP of business development was in the Federal Pen for lying to a grand jury about being at a strip club.  Their company revenues have been declining (now at around $19.5M) as lawyers are filing class action lawsuits against them and winning.  Need I say more.

I needed a email verification on someone Intelius.com stated it would cost me .95 cents I charged it to my prepaid Visa which had like 3.00 on it they got the .95 cents  . The information I got was inaccurate and they wanted 5.00 for the email information I stopped right there. Intellus is indeed nothing but a scam. However since the funds for them to charge are not available they won't be getting another penny out of me. So like I said good luck. And I read on another sight that they actually obtained someone's information  on a credit card that they didn't even provide these scammers with . If this were to ever happen to me I will sue them.

Consumers are given the choice on Intelius.com to pay the regular price for any of our reports or the promotional price that includes a discount on price and a 7 day trial in the Intelius Identity Protect service.

There is no obligation in accepting the promotional offer, and the service can be canceled with the 7 day trial period.  Outside that 7 day trial, it will migrate to a monthly subscription and charge $19.95.
