Complaint Review: intelius.com

This company is suppose to be a investigative web site to find background information such as criminal history, etc. They make you pay a large fee and guarantee you information. Once i payed the fee the web site directed me to other web sites that charged me for the information i already supposively paid for.

i wrote to the company requesting a refund and was denied a refund (in a very blunt, rude email) i then tried at a later date to again obtain info from this site and was denied access (membership has been canceled). i called customer service and was told that because i requested a refund they believed that i no longer needed the service and canceled my access.

Still with no compensation and no information that i paid for. Beware!!! These sites are charging you for information that you can get from other sites free.
