If you have the money to burn (pay your own closing costs), time to waste (3 months of dragging their feet), and love writing LOE's and send your documents ten times over, then Intelliloan is for you!

I wasted 3 precious months of my life by starting the refinance with Intelliloan last October. Dealt with a mortgage specialist (more proper title should be Sleazy Saleswoman) who consistently promised I had nothing to lose by refinancing with them because they will cover my costs. Sounds good why not? That was the dumbest mistake I ever made by trusting her and the worst experience followed.

Soon after we signed the disclosures, I questioned why there were closing costs on the doucments and her excuse was my rate is not locked, it's "floating" and we'll have to lock at a time when the rate's really low to cover my costs. Okay, sounded fair.

Another month passed by and no communications on locking the rate but a thousand requests asking for the same documents to be sent over and Letter Of Explanations to explaine EVERYTHING that went on in your life. I emailed and called to follow up on our loan statuses and locking the rates to the point where I wondered who the customer is here. Instead, I got excuses such as our loans not approved, shes waiting for our other appraisal report to come in because our refinances are bundled together, or that she was out sick.

When I seriously got tired of their games, she quickly changed the tone and said oh the loans JUST approved and we can lock the rate now! But everything was not what she promised our closing costs were more than $5K combined, and the proposed rate was much higher.  I would have to be a retard to accept such a deal. Oh but her management stepped in and demanded I provide locked GFEs and they will try to beat or match their competitors. I gave them one last opportunity to work with me by sending over GFEs from other lenders, only to hear more lousy excuses such as oh this GFEs not locked, oh that GFE expires in a few days. Oh but I also gotta act soon because my credit and application expires soon. Ok, enough is enough!

My fault for not thoroughly research this companys background before I proceeded. They have several complaints from BBB and still have the balls to slap that logo on their website. All the reviews from TrusLink.org is fake contributions of Intelliloan. You will also find humorous self-evaluations of themselves on filtered section of Yelp.com thank goodness Yelp had the brain to figure out they were all fake. Even their own ex-employees have nothing good to say about Intelliloan on glassdoor.com. Bottom line, this company is shameless.

If you went so far as to write a negative blog on RipOffReport.com or on Google+, you might as well copy/paste your comments on BBB. You may or may not gain anything but at least you helped to expose their wrong doings to the public, and STOP them from doing more bad business down there.

I am the author of the foregoing posting regarding Intelliloan. I retract everything I said about Intelliloan, its vice president and owner. I admit that nothing I said in my posting was accurate. Intelliloan actually provided me with an option to lock in the interest rate, but I declined this option preferring to let the interest rate float. In fact, Intelliloan provided me with a disclosure packet which I reviewed and signed specifying that I was choosing to let the interest rate float rather than choosing to lock in at the current interest rate. I did so believing I could get a better interest rate and not because I relied upon anything Intelliloan or any of its employees or officers told me
