I was sent a check from a company that was calling itself "IGC", the official check was made out to my name and drawn out of SunTrust bank. They instructed me to deposit into my account immediately to pay for my registration with the states lottery and gaming commission agency, which must be paid before we can release your balance in the amount of $46,918.50 excluding 7% handling charges in the amount of $3531.50 deducted from my total winnings. I was then given a claim number and told to keep it private. I did NOT fall for this scam, as I've entered many "legit" lottery's, this was not one of them. This is THE biggest scam I've ever seen in my life. The check looks extremely real!!!! Please all be very careful. In times as rough as these it was almost heartbreaking to find out that it was not a "real" check. I went to "IGC" official website and they have a copy of the letter and check on their website with the exact dollar amounts and claim numbers, they are warning that they are not sending these monies out and this letter is not affiliated with them.

Over the weekend, I recieved a check, saying I had won the lottery, to cash the check and pay the fee for the rest of my winnings. SCAM, big time.

I emailed the company on the check and sent them a copy, so that they can research it.

I didn't enter any lottery and also noticed the numbers on the bottom of the check, were not in the correct order.

It's always, Routing number, check number and then accoun number.

What a scam.

Anyway, just had to answer.

Thank you
