Complaint Review: Interface Boca Raton

Hi,

I just like most had dreams of being a star and landed a gig on a beer add in 2008, but in 2011 I got the acting bug again and decided that I needed to  try harder. So I did some internet searching and came across interface. Interested in what I saw I contacted them, after setting up an interview with them I decided to drive from Miami to Boca raton when I got there I thought it was going to be simple interview to see if I had the looks and personality needed to continue pursuing my dream, I was told how handsome I was and that with my looks I could get really far in the business. The whole time i was getting smoke blown up my bag pipe im saying to myself ok when is she going to ask for money and how much is it going to cost.... So after 30min I thought  wow this must be a legit company because she didn't even ask me for..... "so here are the packages we offer and the prices, of course the more you pay the more you get". Man spoke to soon.... After looking at the package price "wallet said to brain dude we can't afford this run while you can" After relaying the message to the agent who was trying to purchase my soul she began to ask me what package on the sheet do I think I could afford my wallet said none..my brain said none... so I said none.... She then went on to ask how much could I pay now, if there were any friends or relatives I could borrow from also she would be willing to let me pay some now and pay the rest in a couple of weeks. After a long speech about how a look like mine would get tons of work in the business I agreed to pay some now then the rest later. She then scheduled me for a photo shoot to have my comp cards made, here im thinking ok this is cool I can work with a photographer to capture some magic. Spoke to soon once again... when I arrived it was like a slaughter house there were tons of people and kids everywhere the photographers were shooting telling you everything looked great and getting people out faster then the drive thru at mcdonalds. After the photo shoot the next week I met with another agent who continued to blow a smoke screen in my face. She asked me what did I think of the photo I told her honestly I did not like them, she stated that she thought they were great and that once they start shopping my comp card around casting director would be all over me like justin bieber at a back to school concert. So once again thinking that I have to be willing to take some risk in order to come out on top paid the remaining balance from the nearly $1000 I paid and wished for the best. It has been a year and I only got one call and that was to ask me if I wanted to be a dancer at the martin luther king parade. I really hope these people are stopped and shut down and any lawyer that is going after them to reimburse victims then please give me a call i have emails and all. but im writing this to help others who are in the same state of mind I was in when become one of their victims.
