Okay, the very short version: I am a loan officer and I received a sales call from a guy at Interglobe Marketing, (IGM) promising to drive traffic to my website with Google pay per click marketing. I have done pay per click in the past and I knew better than to believe the over promises made by this guy but, against my instincts I signed up for the program.  It was only $20 for the first month  and I could cancel anytime.

Their offer: Use our affiliation with Google to fund 1 to 3 loans per month. We will setup a website and use pay per click advertising to drive traffic to your website. The cost is only $20 for the first month then $149 per month thereafter. If you cancel anytime within the first month your card will never be charged again.

Okay, great. I set up my account May 6th and of course not one call ever came in so (after a very long time on hold) I canceled on May 30th, well within the 30 day trial period. A charge from Linktech (dba Interglobe Marketing) showed up on my credit card on June 6th for $149.  I spoke with a manager from IGM and he told me cancelling was a two part process and requires a manager approval to cancel. He offered to meet me half way and refund half of the 149 but this is completely unacceptable as I cancelled within the time period allowed. The conversation went from bad to worse and no refund was given. I had to file a fraud report with my bank to potentially get my money refunded.

They use multiple business names and I’m sure their fraud report is a mile long if one was to find all the dba’s that they use. Add one more to the list. Do not do business with Interglobe Marketing, IGM, Linktech.
