Intergretel Teleconnect Call Me Central, Verizon Unauthorized charges on my phone bill. Internet
I found a $14.99 charge on my Verizon bill. The charge on the bill is for "Billing on behalf of Teleconnect services. No explaination, just a phone #. When I called, they said that I went on-line and signed up for an 800# voice message service. It's been at least a year since I've even been on Verizons web site! They did cancel and said my next bill would reflect the refund. My complaint is... Why is Verizon giving some "outside Company" permission to make charges on my phone bill? This reflects poorly on Verizon and I feel like I have to carefully look at every bill from now on!
