Wendy Mazariegos/Velasquez was hired for interior design ideas and procurment of furnishings for our house. She was also provided with an initial fee when she was hired for the job. Over the course of several months, she was unable to obtain the furniture and walls coverings that we requested. In addition, she was given a dining room table leaf for refinishing ideas that has never been returned to us and now listed as stolen property. We have obtained an attorney only to be strung along since November 2017! Wendy Mazariegos was provided with over $7,000 and has been ever so elusive in regards to our attorney for a service that was not provided and a contract that she did not honor. Come to find out that her business is not an LLC in FL and that she has scammed several others.  She has stated to our attorney on several occasions that she will return our personal property and refund our money as she failed to honor her contract. She has used many sites on the Internet to "sell herself" but certainly does not honor any sort of business ethics.....

Here is another ripped off customer associated with Wendy Mazariegos while she lived in Stamford CT for HBA interiors. Now confirmed at least 4 people in CT and FL that have paid for services and have been ripped off! This occurred right before Wendy moved to FL, how convenient! And another person from CT was nearly bankrupted by Wendy’s unethical actions! Irina Moore 3 reviews a year ago HBA stole our money. We contracted them in April 2016 to upgrade a bathroom in our house.

Their craftsmanship was decent. However, as part of the contract they had to manage the installation of a custom glass shower door by an independent vendor. HBA billed us the full amount for the shower door and we paid in full. However, they kept postponing the installation of the door under various pretexts for several weeks. HBA stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. In August I lost patience and called the shower door provider, only to find out that HBA had not paid. HBA admitted that they had spent our money on something else and promised a refund. Then they went unresponsive again. We lost hope to receive any refund from HBA, and have no choice but to sue. Beware…
