my wife and i were looking for an english bulldog.  we found one online @ backpage.com it was from a person in anchorage, alaska her name was amanda kim.  chating with her online she seemed like a nice person.  well we got information on the puppy everything seemed good, we sent a $200 moneygram to international cargo movers camroon, that seemed odd that the pup was in alaska and this company was in africa.  well they called us the guy had a strong broken accent and was very hard to understand, so they emailed us that the pup was ready for delivery, but they needed an additional $650 for a create, transfer of paperwork, and insurance.  we could not afford that, emailed this amanda kim back, saying we were unable to send that much money, well she keep pushing to send money, she would pay $400 and if we could pay the $250 to help, this went on for about 2 weeks. we didn't hear from her for a couple of days, then she emailed saying that she was in the hospital with her mother and still asking if we sent the money.  received another email from her saying that international cargo movers needed payment for food fee and vaccines, which was $300, she said she would pay $150 if we could pay the difference.  i emailed the travel company stating that if they would give me a tenitive delivery time i could get her, i would send the rest of the money. well didn't get an email back on that.  then i started researching on this company and found this web site and there were other reports very simialar to our incident. so please be aware of this.
