INTERNATIONAL AWARD CLAIM DEPARMENT Said i won $55,500.00 but i had to cash a check and send them the taxes first. NIAGARA FALLS Canada
I recieved a letter today stating that i won $55,500.00 but i had to cash a check first for $3,955.00 and send them $2,900.00 first for taxes. their phone number is a canadian number. I tried to call and it said voice box was full. now that im home i am trien to find anything out about this place and im seeing that it is a scam like i thought. I never entered any contest there & I knew this was wrong. So beware, aparently they get access to your account by cashing the check. It says that i entered a contest at Niagara Casino, now i have never been there in my life. The bank name on the check is Sovereign Bank and im sure they arent aware either. In the left wher it sayswho the check is from it says Advanced Control Tech. Inc 760 Veterans Circle Warminster,PA 18974, now them i couldnt find, so i dont know yet. If anyone got anything like this let me know, i am wondering what to do to stop people like this, im sure that Casino has no idea, I did look them up they do exist.

beware.
There is no such street in NFO as Casino Square (I live in the city)
647 is a Toronto area code not a Regional Niagara area code
there is no such place as Niagara Casino
Niagara Falls, ON currently has 2 casinos:
Casino Niagara
and
Niagara Fallsview Casino
These names are highly promoted as branding and no one EVER refers to either as Niagara Casino any more than one would refer to Martwal or Vegas Las or York New.
and no one should ever pay to get a prize. That sort of thing is totally illegal in Canada for sure
