I received two offers in one day requesting filing fees to register and win monies.  The IAPC requested a reduced fee of $9.00 (payable immediately), and a government form 1080 to be submitted with my signature. This made me curious. I looked up the company and found multiple listings on scams from this same entity.

The accompanying paperwork looks legitimate and on the up and up, but there is no e-mail address or fax number.  The form specified I would be the winnier of $15,000.00 if I sent in my money immediately and returned the form with my signature, and correctly answer a math question.

The correct answer would enter me into a sweepstakes with other like-minded individuals who were math savy.  There would be four tests and then a winner would be chosen.  Each test would require additional fees...but all the fees would be returned to the winners as well as their winnings.  I thought that sounded strange.

Long story short, your posts kept me from losing out on money that could be spent on much better things.  Be aware of the scams people...$9.00 doesn't seem like much, but from 1000 people it is 9K! Good Luck
