International Candle Company ripoff misrepresentation and false information Cambridge Massachusetts
I too have had bad dealings with International Candle Company. If Nate Hillman (Nat Hill or Nate Hill) is so concerned with the image of his company, why does he not return my calls? Instead, he says nothing can be accomplished by negatism. That may be true if he would answer my concerns.
The candles are of poor quality. They start selling pretty good at $1.00. Hard to make a profit that way. The candles are nothing like the brochure, to entice you. The displays are not like the brochure. The 3 so called "random" references I was given are very suspect. To change your image, you should refund unsatisfied distributors. Show good faith that you truly are here for the distributors. I would like to hear from other distributors good and bad.
I would not have chosen this forum to speak out, but Nate or Nat Hill or Hillman leave me no choice since he chooses not to respond.

The Candle Brokers reborn as ICC
#4Consumer Suggestion
Mon, February 14, 2005
File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the Attorney General's Office in Massachusetts. Go after them. They are frauds. They have scammed so many people and keep opening under new names when they accumulate too many complaints against them. There are many people going after them, including me. ICC, your business of scamming is coming to a close.

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

As usual you choose to avoid answering the obvious, instead you attack my ability to sell your inferior product. Addressing my allegations would seem to work in your best interest. By not responding, one might believe the allegations are warranted. I would like to reiterate since you choose to ignore. When did you incorporate to sell distributorships? There seems to be a big discrepency on this point. How are your "random references" picked? This too seems to be in question. Why aren't the candles shipped, any where close to what you advertise in your brochure? Where in the brochure does it say you will substitute whatever candle you feel like? Even my locator told me my candles were way overpriced, as I retailed my candles off your suggested retail. By the way, what is your real name? I have received email from you with varying names.

Business to Business

Ross apparently has confused the situation. This is a business to business matter, not a business to consumer matter. Our product should not be sold for a dollar as he states. The suggested retail prices run much higher, and our distributors have no problem commanding these prices. Perhaps things move a little more slowly in Oklahoma, but in the wholesale business world, as with any other business, you have to work hard and smart to make money. Being afraid of work does not constitute a reason to place a complaint about ICC in this forum.
Sincerely,
Nat Hillman
