BEWARE OF PUPPY SCAMS!!!!

I was helping my son and his wife look for English Bulldog puppies for their children and answered an ad for puppies that the owner needed to find a home for due to relocation.  The ad originally showed that the puppies were in Utah, so we presumed they were local.  After contacting the advertiser we were sent some adorable pictures, but were told that the puppies were actually in Anchorage, AK.  We asked for current pics and were told that the pictures that she sent were very new, even though they showed green grass in March and were supposedly taken in Alaska.  When the person with the puppies gave us the name of the transport company, International Cargo Movers, we started checking things out and learned about the reports here on RipoffReports as well as elsewhere.  Then we got the instructions for payment of the transportation fees, which instructed us to send the money via Western Union to an individual named Queyela Jude in Camaroon. We stalled the "shipper" by saying that the Western Union office we went to couldn't send the money while we contacted the local police.  The shipper started calling us every few minutes citing the "urgency" of getting the puppies on a flight ASAP. The police officer we spoke to agreed with us that it was probably a scam and advised us not to send any money.  When we finally told the caller that we would not be sending the money he argued with us, then hung up on us.
