Complaint Review: International Design - World Perfume

The ad in the paper is misleading, saying that they are a music industry and wholesaler. After the first interview they had promised me up to 100,000 a year by owning my own business. The second interview was a mass sales pitch of about 20 people. It was a huge recruitment seminar promising that we would make a "cash cow" of money. I bought it. They told me if I sell some of their product over the weekend that on Monday I would get a 300$ sign on bonus.

Well I bought some bottles myself and spent a few of my own hard earned dollars on, then on Monday what did I get? Nothing. Due to a "mis-interperatation". I was like ok, fine.

I will make some money this week. They give you virtually no training and send you out to hustle this on the street. As I was in my "personal" meeting with the owner a cop came in and talked to the owner. I should have known then. Stupid me.

Anyway, I go out Monday to hustle this stuff everyone tells me that they have been harrassed by these people for months. I still didn't get discouraged. I thought they were just hard salesmen.

So, I go in the next day and I go out with the owner and try to hustle this stuff. We go out to lunch we try to hustle this stuff and he let me in that it is a pyramid scheme and that he wanted me in on it. Of course this was all in code. Anyway I stopped goin. I have lost at least 200$ and a week of my life to these people and it is illegal.
