I can't afford cable TV so I use an antenna. My antenna broke so I decided to get a new one at this "discount" electronics store near my office. I wanted something decent so I told the guy I was looking for something around forty dollars or less.

The clerk said he had something and pulled a GE Optima off the shelf that was labeled at $73.95. He only charged me forty for it though.

I was happy with this deal until I got home and looked up the antenna on the internet, guess what, it's suggested retail is 29.95 and it normally sells for 13.95.

I know I am an idiot for not checking before I bought it but I don't buy antennas a lot and I'm not that familiar with their prices.

To make a long story short, I went back to the store and they denied ripping me off, they also told me that "all sales are final". It's not a lot of money, I don't care if I get it back but I don't want anyone else getting ripped off. If you live in New York City please tell your friends not to patronize this shady store, tell everyone you can.
