I wish we had investigated Jason Hearne before we hired him to arrange for travel services.  Jason Hearne scammed us out of $8,400 in April 2014.  He sent us emails with what we thought were legitimate travel arrangements and hotel reservations. Once he had our money, our contact with him quickly diminished. He stopped answering the phone, texts, and emails. We even tried knocking on his door.

He does not answer. He does not even sign for certified mail. He hides. Do not give Jason Hearne your money.

If you have a similar experience, please report it to the FBI White Collar Crimes division in Las Vegas (702) 385-1281.

You can also file a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General's office (702) 486-3420.We will never get our money back, but hopefully someone else will be saved by this information.

IEP Complaints

#5Author of original report

Wed, January 11, 2012

This notice on Ripoff Reports was sent out to warn the public that there have been multiple complaints against IEP (aka International Events or IEP Group Inc, Las Vegas NV) and that the Attorney General had requested that anyone who had a bad experience with this company to write a letter with the problems experienced.  What matters here is that the public needs to know that numerous companies/customers did not get their products and services that were paid for, many companies for thousands of dollars. Look at International Events BBB rating and this will give you some indication of their reputation. They dropped to an F rating due to customer complaints. You can also look at scambook.com and whoscammedyou.com for other complaints by other companies about their experiences.  One company shows a copy of a letter that was sent out by IEP stating that they would not be honoring some of their reservations due to financial difficulties. Don't take the chance with this company and book through your tradeshow coordinator, hotel directly or a reputable wholesaler. DUE DILIGENCE is extremely important in this situation. IEP at one time was also known as Itravel which also has an F rating. The name was changed, but company is operating the same way.
