International Health Care - The Administrative Director, Pat Conroy - IHC Unsollisited Job Offer, wanted to clear money through my bank account to speed up the receipt of funds for USA purchases. Money was to be sent to their offices and individuals. It has all the appearance of a money laundarying operation. Sheffield England and Los Angles California
The unsollisited job offier was sent to me by e-mail 28 Aug. 05 wanting me to asume the resonsibility of speeding up the wire transfer of monies owed the company for the artifical limbs and other mobility aids . It was well written and based upon some of the problems I encountered while in Saudi Arabia with the transfer of funds.
I investigated the the company and got no response from google or yahoo . This made me a bit warie and the reference to the use of my personal bank account' and the possibility of sending funds to individuals (so designated by the beneficiary ) as employes rather than departments raised more red flags.
I checked with my local bank and found they had no way of identifying this type of scams and futher checked the innernet and found Rip Off Reports and a hit on a simliar scam by the same company . (I would have at least changed the company name but buisnees cards are expensive ).
I decided to alert the public that this may be on the level but........ I hope there are some others out there that have experience (good or bad ) with IHC that can shed some light on dealings with IHC.
