Complaint Review: International Librery Of Poetry

Hello, I'm writing about the International librery of poetry,

I work as a Fire fighter and lads at work heard i was a bit of a poet and brought in a clipping about this competition,

I entered the comp and recieved a letter saying " congrats you have made it into our book" i bought the book 25 was really proud as the poem was about my Father who had died 3 years earlier,

8 months passed and i was offered the chance to fly out to the U.S to read my poem at a small cost of 800 for the room, not for flights room and meal just room!!!

if i wanted to read my poem to an audience it was a further 80 so did the sums and was looking at about 1500 for a weeks holiday in N.Y so decided to pass.

That was 5 years ago and from the other reports on this site im glad, I still have the book so cant all be bad and am currently trying to get other poems published with good responses from reputable punlishers, don't fall for the holiday gag its a scam which will leave you broke and annoyed,
