International Merchandise Group (IMG) is a complete scam. I'm just trying to educate people so they don't make the mistake of associating themselves with these guys.

They had a business called World Traders Association (WTA) go bad in California. They were banned from doing business in California for not complying with the SAMP act. If you are reading this, I'm sure you have read the other postings and have an idea what this is about.

IMG is what became after the smoke cleared, the same company, just with a different name, a new identity (well almost). This type of thing actually happens quite often and is done when a corporation is trying to sheild themselves and get a new start.

I can prove well over 10 valid links between the 2 companies that range from sharing of locations, products, employees, training materials etc.

You see, they are so paranoid about people exposing them that they routinely scour the chat rooms all over the net and if they were to see something you wrote derogatory about them they will contact you and threaten you. Trust me, It's happened to me.

But hey, If your company failed and you needed to try over to get it right, more power to you for not giving up. Except they do not deliver on what they promise their affiliates. They will lie to you countless times and hide behind voice & email so they wont get caught on the spot. The trainers NEVER answer the phones, and I mean never, every call is screened.

Oh, I almost forgot, IMG has stopped selling memberships because they claim to have financial concerns. You know what, It's the same business model they had at WTA. Sell a load of people memberships promising the world, "train" them for a couple of hrs on the phone, promise no salesmanship, no cold calling, etc. then bottom out and start over.

Now you see it was 1st WTA, then IMG, and now it has moved onto The Global Connection (TGC). Here we go again. Same people, Same training materials, same promises, etc.

If you were to call IMG to speak to a "recruiter" for a broshure, you used to get IMG materials, now they are sending materials that say "The Global Connection". But they say they are not linked and actually deny the other exists.

But how can this be? I just called IMG and there representative sent me information on their non-existent competitor? Yes it's true the "recruiter" I dealt with still has his extention available along with his name and of course it's voicemail, it's always voicemail, he is distributing TGC promo material. One day, I left a message and he returned my call. Off the record he confirmed many of my suspicions - He was with TGC now and actually works for both, so IMG decided to leave his extention avaialble to "avoid confusion" just in case someone was trying to reach him for info on IMG, they could re-direct that individual to TGC instead, but this is the non-existent competion!! It can't be so. He later admitted that he was working both ends and confirmed the connection. All the while, the cat's out of the bag and all the tough talking execs are lying to me and playing stupid to the facts. How pathetic!

Products that are listed on IMG's site for members are also on the WTA site for members. Same price, picture, everything.

Try this one...wtaaffilates.org and imgaffiliates.com. These are the sign in pages for affiliates. Is it me or are they suspiciously familiar. Now if you were to know user name & passwords, (I was given an active one from a very unhappy WTA affilaite who wants to see justice served) you could enter the site and thats where the fun begins, because they are the same and you wont know if you want to laugh or cry. I guess this would be determined on whether you gave them your hard earned cash or not.

IMG says they are located in Denver, CO. at 1600 Broadway Ste 2400. I've been there. It's a "store front". Just the minimum requirements to do business and incorporate in the state. (You see they were banned from California where all the trainers are located). They also are delinquent with there corporate filings. Check it out. Go to sos.state.co.us

Also, if you ask them for any address for any of there supposed locations (they claim to have warehouses) they will flat out not tell you. They must be storing plutonium there, because it is more protected than a top secret government facility would be. Any reputable business with nothing to hide would welcome & encourage visitors.

I am going to close for now, but I do have many more facts to point out. I will write in again to further expose these guys. Also, write me if you need to know more right away, some things I don't want to expose to the full public yet. I want to get my money back from this scam and from a legal standpoint it would not be wise to tell everything publically. But I can assure you the best is yet to come. I know so much more than they think.
