In Feb. 2007 I had sent in Poetry.com a poem called Sisters. My husband paid close to $3oo dollars for six books, included my biography of how the poem came about, also shipping and handling.

I have called them every month since April. Each time they tell me the books have not yet been published but would turn it in to the editors/publishers for publishing. It is now Oct. 2007, and still no books.

I told them I wanted my money, my books, or would take situations into my own hands. I hope that you can help me. I feel like I not only should get my money back; but my books to for the lies and delays. Mental anguish.

I just read some of the other stories.

I also was sent an award for best poem and wanted me to pay for it. They also wanted me to go to Las Vagas, Navada for their what-cha-call it. I knew their had to be something wrong with that. But still and hopes and dreams of getting Gods' Word out.

I had also been selected Ambassador for the month of June I think it was. This happened twice. They wanted more poems, more money. I only wanted to get the one poem in book form for my sisters and mother. The were all so proud when they saw another one of my poems published. Which I also had to pay for.

My husband had asked me about (doesn't the poet get paid for their work?) it. I thought well maybe this was just how it started then maybe someone important would see and appreciate my work (Gods' Work)
and would want to maybe pay for it. Then I could do things for the less unfortunate. Oh well! I guess there has to be bubbles of dreams busted by someone.

Still want my money and my books.
