Complaint Review: International Profit Associates

The owner of IPA, John Burgess, has a long history of wrongdoing. He was barred from practicing law in the State of New York on May 11, 1987 and he did not even show up for his hearing. That's why he sometimes says he quit, but he's lying. He was disbarred. His employment was terminated with the George S. May International Company due to an incident in the company board room with a prostitute. He sometimes brags about it and sometime denies it but he has given testimony, under oath, acknowledging it. He knows nothing about consulting. He is an expert at fleecing the innocent. He drives a Bentley while his employees ride a bus from a remoted parking lot that has to be policed due to the type of personnel employed at IPA.

The company doesn't only take advantage of clients. It does the same thing to its employees. The company is known for shorting employees on their paychecks, claiming mistakes, and taking long drawn-out periods of time to correct the errors that many times never get satisfied. Working conditions are deplorable with shouting and screaming all the time. I guess the only person who is not a victim of IPA is its owner, John Burgess, and his chosen few empoyees that do his bidding without questioning the morality or legality of his demands.

The Attorney General for the State of Illinois is conducting an investigation into fraud despite the fact that she toured the IPA Headquarters while she was campaigning and accepted a healthy contribution. Anyone who has material information about this should write her at:

There is another website at www.bigclassaction.com that everyone here should sign up for. I'm sure that if John and his son Tyler (exact duplicates)are not engaged in any wrongdoing, they will have no problem with this.

I have suffered at this man's hands like nobody here could ever understand. He is despicable and will stop at absolutely nothing to eradicate whatever individual, agency (federal included), company, competitive business, employee, relative or other unmentioned entity to enrich his own pockets. It has always been John first and the rest of the planet last.

I applaud the courage of the owners of this website who continue to have the fortitude to publish this information despite huge pressure to cease and desist. If anyone is paying attention, John Burgess's IPA legal steamrolling machine has bought out or sued all of the other websites out of existence (www.ipaopinions.com, www.ipaemployees.com, www.ipaclients.com, www.consultingopinions.com, www.ipasux.com, www.ipasucks.com). The ex-owners of these sites are not permitted by the conditions of their settlements to say anything to anyone so he has effectively gagged them just like Joseph Rosenbloom states on page 32 of the March 2004 issue of Inc. Magazine.

This is a battle of right over wrong and we must not relent!
