On September 24, 2008, I made two calls about one minute each at a pay phone in downtown London, England, to Albany, NY, and was charged $66, that's $33 each, by International Satellite Communications.

When I complained, they explained they charge a connect fee of $15 and charge for a minimum call of 5 minutes at their rate of $3.95 per minute.

I protest that these charges would not mentioned in the advertiments for their service, and that was unfair. Because it was my first time using their service, they agreed to refund part of the bill but said company policy prevented refunds of more than 50%. Thus I still had to pay $33 for two one-minute calls.

Is there anything we can do to get the rest of our money back and to stop these rascals from cheating others?
