I can't believe this co. can get away with preying on young kids the way they do! My daughter pours out her heart in her poetry.

She loves to write. Now I'm not so sure she feels that way. She submitted her poems on her own over the internet, two different poems to two different co. Wouldn't you know they both selected the two poems she sent in to be put in an overpriced book and was selected as a finalist for a contest in God knows where and she would be paying for her award if she received one. She was flying for days, telling anyone who would listen to her about her great furtune.

All the while all I could think was this must be a scam and I needed to check it out. The price of the convention alone was very high, almost $600 for her and almost $500 for me to accompany her, and that did not include air fair and hotel accomidations or food.It would have cost over $2,500 to go for three days.

She wanted to go so bad because she believed every word they wrote to her. She's in her room crying as I write this because I had to break her heart and show her this web sight. I had to be the one to crush her dreams. It's hard for young children to comprehend that there are people who will scam children. I hope people read this and know not to even open the envelope. Spread the word!
