I have been writting poetry for 6 years now, and the only place I can get them published in through poetry.com and other various companies. I have had approximately three out of the five publoished through ISP. They have sent me letters saying, "Congratulations!" and "You have the opportunity to win Poet of the Year!"

I have recently recieved a letter invitation for a convention in Las Vegas. If I had the money, I might go, but the fact that I can't go should not take away my opportunity to win the titles and the "$10,000.00 book publishing contract." I do not know if I am as talented as ISP makes me feel, but my friends and family have told me that I do have talent.

I know of others like me who wish to be published, I have several personal friends who should be published more than I. There is a problem with this, though, we are all from little towns in the mid-west and there is no place to get published at. We could send our work to the big companies, but which ones? Newspapers do not publish poetry and other literature any more, which is how all the American classics were started. I love writing, and I wish that others with more talen than I could be recognized. With the opportunites that ISP promises, it makes us small writers excited about our future in the published world. Where else can we go if we can no longer trust poetry contests?
