They say God works in mysterious ways.

Do you know how close I came to sending this company $520.00? As I am writing, my credit card is by my side. I was planning to pay the remainder balance- I already sent them $75.00- for the convention and symposium that they are allegedly holding here in Washington, DC on 8/15/03 - 8/17/03.

I went to the "AskJeeves" search engine to pull up their site, when I came across this "Ripoff" site. After reading "in Horror" the stories of others, I put my card away. I know your stories have to be true (as far as the details) because they sound so familiar to mine.

However, I left a message at the number in the confirmation letter [{410) 356-2000] to ask a question regarding the "free" booth for Artists wanting to display/sell their work and received a call back.

I was so excited about this convention! And now....

I sent an e-mail to 7 On Your side (WJLA)to investigate this company and find out if they are legitimate or not. I'm waiting for a response.

Thanks to all for sharing your stories. It saved me alot of money. I'd rather lose $75.00 (if I can't get a refund) than lose $520.00.
