They are called International Model and Talent Management or (IMTA). The set up is close to that as john robert powers, they tell you you are unmarketable and if you want them to represent you you have to give them no less then 5000 for one of there 'world class photographers' to take your picture. then they add additional fees on for additional unneeded and sometimes completely false services. They are all crooks, their staff includes an anorexic lady by the name of Tonya Wrigh who is supposed to be in charge of recruiting people to the fake agency. One of the services that they say is included in their agency is access to unlimited job listings, but these are mearly taken from sites such as craigs list and compiled into list form. Please help expose this scam.

Thanks,
Lucian

THIS POST IS FALSE AND DAMAGING TO ME

#10REBUTTAL Owner of company

Sun, October 11, 2009

This person does that has never met me got to post this as fact. I have been suffering the consequences of lost business and reputation based on a post from someone who has never met me. Actually every quote against me is from someone Ive never met. Lucian who wrote this came into my modeling agency to be a model. My partner Josh met him, took some test shots, an on camera screen test, and sent him home. I went over his application and he had unrealistic expectations, and after studying his test shots and script read we decided he wasnt right for our agency, after informing Lucian of our decision he verbally attacked Josh and said wed be sorry I didnt think much of it I just figured he was like many other potential models and just upset. When I first saw the post I became furious because it was blatantly false and since Lucian was a minor I did call his father a demand a retraction or face a civil lawsuit. Lucian wrote that retraction. I have interviewed thousands of potential models, as an agent I represented over 1,500 models nationwide. Most models I interviewed I did not represent. Out of all these rejections only Lucian is complaining. Specific allegations: We are not IMTA. We never charged models to be in our agency. That is against the law and the state sends in auditors to make sure you are following the rules. Im a gay, frustrated actor. Im a father of 2 boys and have never attended one acting audition. My partner has been in 7 feature films and has also modeled in the Pgh area. The rebuttal were not written by me. Check out the writing styles. Also I can put you in touch with the models and photographers that wrote fair comments. My credentials speak for themselves. I have signed my talent from Pgh. to 57 contracts in NY and LA. I was named agency of the year by my peers in a national modeling competition. I was also judge and special guest at the Elite Model Look of the Contest. Regards, Scott Deyling

Real World Reality Check

#10Consumer Comment

Tue, March 27, 2007

Dear Lucian,

I am photographer/photographer's assistant in NYC, originally from Pittsburgh. I'm aquainted with Mr. Deyling from business we had done together back home. Let me tell you that the reality of working in NY is no kinder here than it is in Pittsburgh.

A) Modeling Agencies here in NYC won't even give you the time of day to speak with them unless you 1) know someone and have an "in" or 2) Wow them at an open call.

B) The photographers who shoot model tests for the model's portfolios are almost ALL virtual nobodies. They might not be nobodies today, because they've gotten around the industry and made a name for themselves.

C) Model Training is just that... Training. College is Training. You pay for that don't you? If Mr. Deyling is asking you for money to teach you how to hone your skills so that you may be able to make money as a model in the future, I'd say he'd justified. Why should he, or his company, work on you, for free?

Now, you might not like it that he is making money off you on the front end and the back end, but on both the front end and the back end you are earning something too. On the front end he takes your money to teach you how to make money. (Thats what teachers/college professors do.) On the back end he takes part of your pay as a commission for finding you the job. (This is what all managers/agents do.)

I don't think you have any real right to complain, even if Mr. Deyling never did get you any work. Lawyers often work on retainer or are paid up front for their services, with no guarantee that you will win your case, but you still have to pay them for their service even if you haven't won. People are paid in this world for their time and knowledge, not always results.

So, in short, please examine the facts of the real world before attacking a company or man and saying it is shady. Because the fact is that Business is Business at the end of the day and, well, Business is full of secret talks, back alley deals, and shadyness every day. No one in business is in it for the greater good. We're all in it for personal gain, whether its feeling good about ourselves or raking in the dough.

Enough is Enough!!!!!!!

I am writing this because Enough is Enough! First let me mention how childish this is of Lucian the person who wrote the first rebuttal and also said this about me, They are all crooks, their staff includes an anorexic lady by the name of Tonya Wrigh who is supposed to be in charge of recruiting people to the fake agency. Let me get one thing straight if you are going to write something about me regardless of it being a lie, please spell my name right. It's Tonya Wright, not Tonya Wrigh. Also, just because Lucian is upset because our agency decided not to work with him does not give him any right to continue being so immature to go on and say that I am Anorexic. I will be more than glad to show anyone the difference between a healthy person like myself to pictures of people who do have the disorder.

I work at and with Scott Deyling at International Model and Talent Management. I am NOT going to write a report on how the agency isn't a fake. Instead I am willing to take out time out my schedule for any one who would like proof that International Model and Talent Management is indeed a legit agency.

Here's some proof.

1. When you walk into our agency you will see our Agency License on the Wall. If International Model and Talent Management and the people work there were crooks and scams then the State of Pennsylvania would not register them as a Modeling Agency.

2. Log onto www.imtm.net and you will see a link that's called BLOG. If you click on this link you will see the hundreds of jobs/gigs/promo/work/events that Actors/Models at International Model and Talent Management have done. Since Lucian keeps stating that every rebuttal is actually not the person they say they are, and that they are scott he will probably say that the Talent under the Blog page are fake. I assure you that If I brought into our agency, every single person under that Blog list they would tell anyone and everyone that International Model and Talent Management is NOT A SCAM!

3. If you walk into our agency, you will see various pictures of Fashion Shows, Promotions, Print Ads, Designer Shoots and many other jobs/gigs/promo/work/events that our talent have also done. People can say whatever they want, but pictures taken during the actual event don't lie and once again prove that International Model and Talent Management is indeed a legitament agency and not a fake like Lucian says. Come in and see for yourself!!!!!!!!

I could go on and on and on. I'm sure that Lucian will continue writing childish little comments on here, but I've made my point clear. If you want to see what I have stated above just simply call and come in and look. And one last thing that I would like to get straight is the all the other rude, childish and immature comments that Lucian has made about Director Scott Deyling. Mr. Deyling is not a scam artist, in fact if it wasn't for him and his dedication to helping all the models at International Model and Talent Management to succeed then there would be a lot more complaints than one person like Lucian on Ripoffreport.com then just him.. Oh and let me not forget the girl from Arizona. It's Arizona not Pittsburgh. Mr. Deyling does not market everyone who walks through those doors because he won't lie to them and tell them they are marketable if they are not. You may or may not have had modeling experience, but he doesn't think that he can market you with his clients then he will let you know. If they need pictures, yes they are offered discounted rates with our photographers. He could let you go out and pay hundreds of thousands for pictures, but instead he offers you a way to get them a little cheaper. If someone was offering me a way to get cheaper, but yet professional pictures I would be more than grateful. Is it a scam or ripoff to try and help someone? Last time I checked it wasn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my final statement is enough is enough. If you have any questions or would like to come into the agency then feel free to check out our website at www.imtm.net or call 412-563-1918 and just in case Lucian or any one else claims that this is not actually Tonya (me) writing this, call me and I will also prove that for you too.
Thank you
Tonya Wright

Scott Deyling; A Con Artist, Failed Actor, and Impersonator

Creative choice of names, Lacy and Liz. Scott Deyling (If that is his real name), the owner, is a con man, and apparently also gets something out of posing as female models. It is ILLEGAL for an agency to ask you for money FACT. INTERNATIONAL MODEL AND TALENT MANAGEMENT IS A CON AND FLY BY NIGHT COMPANY. DONT GET INVOLVED THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!!! As a closing note some of you may find it interesting that the last post is labeled as submitted by an employe, but the content of it is acting as if they were a consumer.

THe fact that none of you people know anything about IMTM and attacking them is just crap. THe only time that people act like this is if they have been denied. Just face the facts you obviously weren't good enough. FOr you to say that Lacey is posing as the owner, is also crap. I have seen the work that she has done and she is an amazing model, and IMTM has helped to get her there. Scott has already shared his views on these matters, so that just shows that he isn't afraid to say what he feels. So, until you know the "FACTS" about IMTM, you shouldn't go around posting information that you don't know if it's true or not just because your bitter.

The owner acting as a client

Yeah it seems pretty obvious to me that the "client" rebutting against this critic is obviously the owner. "I have graced the runways of New York..."

Patrik Simpson-esque soap opera marketing language if I ever heard it.

Actually Actually (An Actually to your Actually)

Sounds to me like you are a little fake. Let me tell all who read this that the owner of the company is known to impersonate 'clients.' Your 'rebuttal' is obviously fake and anyone who reads it and agrees is nothing but an idiot.

Because the agency in question threatened me with violence I posted the follow up to the original article posted. They are nothing but frauds, and although I do not have solid figures from their company they are frauds none the less. If you want to be represented by a real agency call up the 'Talent Group' they are very ligit and are south side based.

This agency we are talking about contain nothing but shysters. I researched a few things, first off their photographers are all unknowns (fact!), they openly lie about what they can get you in the profession, they said they have had models for abercrombie and this is a lie, all of abercrombiies models are taken from once agency in chicago.

The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is currently gathering information about this agency from an expose article on organizations such as this one.

If you are a real 'model' then im sure you would have no problem with meeting my lawyer, showing him your print work, their representation of you, how long it took, and costs you encountered.

As for your comments attacking me in the profession, im not even going to dignify them with a responce, only that I was in three commercials and have done many vocals.

I would post more FACTS about them but at this point they are just a waste of my time. I host a radio show and in the next episode (28 I believe) I will be fully covering this topic with my co host. To listen to back logged episodes visit

Anyone who believes the post you just made is legiitimate deserves to be robbed by you people.

sounds to me that your a little bitter. no one asked you for $5,000 there. i know the company very well and i know for a fact thats not true. the photographers that work there are amazing and full of talent. the photgraphers from New york themselves ask for money.(at the most 150) you are not forced to shoot with them.they make $200-500/hr in new york i know because ive been there. so asking you for a little cash to pay their bills is totally understandable. they have a selection of talented photgraphers at imtm who do not ask you for money.

My portfolio is full of pictures from them and its gotten me very far. ive graced the runways of new york because of them. as far as saying rude immature remarks about tonya...shes a beautiful girl who is full of life and the most nicest girl i have ever met. she bends over backwards for her guys and girls at the agency and by no means is ANNOREXIC. clearly you have a case of delusion.shes a model hunny...has all the right curves and has contract offers by new york agencies.i think you are just mad because they turned you down. they called u unmarketable... that means in their eyes you dont have what it takes...if you really had a passion for modeling and acting you wouldnt let someone turning you down get you so mad. you take the hit and you rise from it.

If anyone is doing something wrong it is you. you want to make it in this industry you gotta have tough skin and a positive outlook. clearly you have neither. it shows because your so bitter. im sure if a supermodel like tyra banks threw a temper tantrim everytime she was turned down she wouldnt be where she was today. you are going to ruin your oppurtunities before they are even offered to you. think about that kiddo.

ignore my posting and refer to theirs if you have questioning

#10Author of original report

I would like to take a moment to illustrate that I do not know from personal experience about their '5,000' equilivent charge, the company owner has told me this is untrue and that he does not charge his clients (which is how legally operating modeling agencies are supposed to be) so if I was misinformed regarding that matter then people disregard that comment, also the comment made twords Ms. Tonya Wrigh was not expressed to me, she is quite thin but I do not know if she is anorexic and thus that comment cannot be heavily regarded.

The comment regarding Ms. Wrigh was made primarily because I found her to be personally rude and undermining to myself when dealing with her causing me to have built up prejudices. Regarding the company owner Mr. Scott Deyling I do not know enough about him or his company to accurately make these statements I was just briefly acquainted with Mr. Scott Deyling and through these encounters I felt something was 'off' but as a closing thought I do not have any solid facts about this company, they are seemingly shady but I can prove nothing and so the comments regarding them mentioned should be disregarded.

Where I personally have no first hand as a client of theirs there is another listing that seems more reliable, ignore my posting and refer to theirs if you have questioning. The link is:
