This began by doing an internet search with regard to my router which I was having connection problems with. Internet searched d-link which brought up a number to call, 1-800-829-4670. A subsequent search the next day I was unable to find the phone number found on the Web page. All were gone. Talked to several people, a Mike White, an Abby and a James all with East Indian accent. I was informed they were operating out of New York but have operations throughout the U.S., Canada and other countries. I was subsequently talked into allowing them access to my computer where it was explained (discovered)  that amoung other things an executible program csrss.exe was in fact a trojan horse and that my computer had been hacked.

They even brought up a web page from microsoft which showed the csrss.exe confirming thier claim.  It was then the pressure tactics started about a program they would install remotely that would clear up my problems. All I had to do was provide my Visa to the amount of what started out to $568.00 u.s. This amount was eventually lowered to $490.00 then to $368.00 u.s. After explained that I wanted to research what they had infomed me was a trojan horse and after more pressure to purchase I finally ended the conversation which resulted in several followup calls direcetly after. To the csrss.exe I found it to be a critical Windows operating program and was unable to replicate the Microsoft web page previously mentioned. I also took my CPU into a reputable retailed who checked my system for anything but could find nothing. Computer was clean!
