On July 30, 2014 I set up an account and paid $25 to VoiceMeup for voip minutes and service.  I was constantgetting frustrated with tech and customer support, I asked if I could just cancel the service and get a refund?   Customer Service agreed.  

I also explained how I used a gift card to pay for the service and DO NOT have the card anymore.  Customer service promised they would send a check.

My account was cancelled on September 18, 2014 with a balance of $22.26 and I received an email from customer service,  accounting@getinfinity.com confirming this:

Hello Mr ----------,

Please note that the account and the reimbursement was done in your account. Check will be mailed to you and you should receive it very shortly.

On Jan 13, 2015 I decided to contact Voicmeup/ Internet Infinity  to find out what is going on with my refund as I have yet to receive check. 
Customer service responded with this email below:

As we discuss over the phone, I will send this request to our accounting department in order to verify if the check was cash in or not. In the case that it was not cash in, we will cancel the current check and reissue a new one.

Can you validate that the following address is the proper one to send the check to?

I sent a reply email confirming address.

On Jan 16, 2015 I received this upsetting email below:

Hi Mr.-------------,

After verification, it's true that some member of our team had the wrong information and provide you the wrong procedure. The accounting department has advise us, that all refund are made the same way the last payment was made.

If you are not the owner of the credit card, why did you use it?

The refund on our end was made and there is no way for us to reverse this. We had the authority to refund you on that card, since this is how you paid us.

I've emailed Ripoff support twice, copied VOICEMEUP both times asking for removal, update and VOICEMEUP won't stop emailing me. I even told them stop, and this is how customer service responds:

There was never a case of fraud or scam of any sort, simply a misunderstanding regarding a refund.

Please tell them that you would like to remove the report on the grounds that it is false information.

Dave, it is false information as we have not commited any kind of fraud or had any intent to;

Well it was fraud. Because you refund me after fighting for months, and finally making an online complaint and even warning you, I do it if I didn't get refunded, doesn't change the fact.
