Complaint Review: Internet Pro (internetpro.co) walnut creek

What a joke - this guy who apparently knows so much about me and my experience with Chris Greenberg is Chris Greenberg using one of his MANY MANY aliases.  I just got a call from a guy who had the same sort of rip-off experience with Chris, and he said that Chris used this same name "Michikoff" in his emails when he contacted him to do work.  Nice try Chris.  If I was so terrible at my job, why did your client tell me that all the work I did was complete and accurate and now they are MY CLIENT, because they said they figured out that you did not know what you were doing and subbed out all the work he gave you.

Also, when I posted this complaint about you, no less than 8 website developers contacted me by email and telephone to tell me that they had similar experiences with you hiring them and not paying them and being extremely unprofessional, rude and condescending and racist.

Good luck buddy.  I suggest you find work that you actually know how to do and leave the rest of the world alone.  No matter how many aliases you come up with, you are always going to be found out.

When I posted a warning about him on CL, other victims contacted me via tel and email - this is just a few of them:

1. "Do let me know if you do intend to sue him though - I have evidence of him threatening me as well since I saved the text messages etc. "

2. "I had much the same experience with him yesterday, except I realized where it was going (I deal with CL weirdos a lot) and cut him off at the knees - politely told him I had no more time and he freaked out on
me. I have two numbers for him, never got his address though. I have been thinking about contacting the client he had me work for, www.baypreps.com"

3. "Hey, Just another web developer here who was ripped off by him. Things got real sour towards the end .... When I decided to stop working for him, threats started coming about and just made things worse. I had two jobs that he still owed me money on, but got paid for neither. He probably told you some sob story about the last web developer he had (which was me) but really, the only problem we had was him. Do let me know if you do intend to sue him though - I have evidence of him threatening me as well, since I saved the text messages etc. "


Warning to Craigslist Web Developers - do not take work from this guy; he will cost you more than he will ever pay.  When I told him I was going to report fraud to Walnut Creek police, then he came up with $100 payment via paypal and then begged me to put a comment on ripoffreport that it was "just a a misunderstanding".  I refused to take back the truth, which is what I wrote the first time and which is what I am writing now.  You think I would waste my time to report someone that didn't deserve it?

To whom it may concern:

I personally have know Chris Green for 16 years and to be politically correct it is actually "Greenberg" not "Greenburg"  but he prefers Green. No big deal.. anyways... I am chiming in to do what any friend or business partner would do and that is to make sure the story is set straight! I am sure he will reply to this as well, when he feels it is worth his time. His words to me were, "This is just adolescent high school drama from a very old and mentally beaten woman." In other words, I hope she finds happiness. :(

My discovery of how the events unfolded...

Chris told me about this person he was dealing with over the past few days..and how at 1st to get his money, she was sweet and informative and then after negotiating work terms, he immediately sent her a deposit "$" and she became a domineering know it all of her trade "not knowing collectively that our team has a combined total of 36+ years of experience that happen to be very busy and needed additional help" and she agreed to a set price for 2 small projects to be completed. $120 whole dollars total! This is chump change folks.. but an agreed amount
between 2 parties.

Let's continue..

She was paid 50% upfront and as if a relative of Houdini, "poof" disappeared and was impossible to contact for 24 hours or so.. not long.. but when it is said to take only "2-4 hours of actual work" this a waaay beyond acceptable!  Yet like the sock and bopem game we all played as kids, she popped up after to demand more money for her struggling sub par efforts and disappear again, which is unusual considering 50% is paid upfront and 50% upon completion. From what I have gathered, her emails with him may only be described as definitely blackmailing and or threatening him. Really! Ever heard the term.. don't bite the hand that feeds?

Finally.. after much surpassed time, our "special friend" mostly completes her job and submits to Chris and the client for review.

Now.. any real developer, knows that you first present your work and suggest to your client; that if any changes or updates are needed that best suit them, to please speak now or forever hold your peace. Only after final updates are made "if needed" and they are 100% satisfied, the projects(s) are considered complete.

She did indeed finish half of the work folks and Chris still determined to complete his agreement with the the client as promised.. was "unhappily" forced to pause other projects and focus his efforts on these specifically mentioned projects because of the breach of agreement from the hired help and lack of her completion.. what did he even pay you for?

She actually demanded Chris to pay an additional amount that totaled 100% of the projects they originally agreed on, to continue work "or else" she says. Who do you think you are lady!? Btw..
her name is Darrow Boggiano and her # is 415.933.4433 <--- BEWARE OF DARROW BOGGIANO FROM CITYSITES.COM <-- Her website and her offer project quotes "paid by project" or hourly rates.. which at least from Chris' experience is complete bologna. I love how people have 1 experience or better yet a self imagined "pathological lying" experience and then claim that every business transaction that they "us" have ever done in the history of their existence is a sham.. a sham I tell you.. please note my sarcasm :D

Point being..

There are always 2 sides to every story.. if for some unimaginable reason you find yourself dealing with this woman and you happen to negotiate a deal that favors you.. please get the project quote in some form of writing, like Chris did with Skype, so when the person realizes or comes to terms with what they signed up for, they must stay true to their word. This domineering person agrees
to terms with you and then switches to hourly rates that suit her, demanding additional money, which is not cool!!

I am personally offended and thankful at the same time for not having to deal with people like you! Go to church or better yet seek therapy Mam. I am serious!

The sad part is that even after Chris had to finish the work himself.. she finally was reachable and contacted him about "money,money,money" as if she fully earned anything like a bum in SF asking for quarters for liquor or drugs... you look at them and want to help but should not fuel the fire. Even with my 2 cents added <-- pun inteded :D.. Chris being the person that he is even after everything!.. offered the lady $40 additional.. mind you, for work not completed by her, just to leave things on semi positive terms and go separate ways.

Any normal person "by today's standards" would think that would be the end of that... but of course like any great movie or story.. she then went over the edge, lost her marbles and here we find ourselves.

1)The person that submitted the claim against Chris and internetpro.co is in fact withholding information to make her look bad. I mean why would she do that right?

2) She also said we have a terrible "internetpro.co" and her site is "citysites.com".. you compare! I bet you already know which site looks better and which statement you can count on the most! :D
