Complaint Review: Internet Search Group

Internet Search Group/Teledata International is a fraudulent outfit.

Internet Search Group (or TeleData International) posted a charge to my Verizon bill claiming that I contracted them to provide an specified service.   In reality, they never contacted me (owner).  They claim the service was authorized by our receptionist.  She (a long term employee) did not recall ever spoke to Internet Search Group (877-244-3540) about their services.  

I know our emploee.  She would not do things without telling us.  At the same time, I would think that selling Internet search engine optimization service will involve a long presentation.  Our office has a lot of phone traffic.   I doubt she had the time to be involved in a long discussion and would have no recollection.

It was frustrating to get this charge removed.  Interenet Search Group charge appeared under a OAN title on my Verizon bill.  Verizon said that they allowed a "OAN" to post charge as a 'convenience' to their customers.  They asked me to talk to OAN.  OAN says that they were a billing company for Teledata International.  OAN gave me another number to call.

Teledata International number's recording never identified themselves.  I had one 30 minute 'hold' session.  I had a long wait before I got thru the second time.  The lady identified their company as "Internet Search Group".   She would only say they provide internet search service.  She would not provide details of their alleged services.  She quickly issued me a refund that I am yet to see coming back.

In my opinion, both Verizon and Internet Search Group should be prosecuted for consumer fraud.  Verizon allowed Internet Search Group to post fraudlent charges to my Verizon account and confiscated my money.  Interent Search Group charged for services that they could not describe in sufficient detail.  They got together to ripe off business consumers.
