My husband answered an ad for a start your own business kit. It was a kit to help you design your own online business. He paid seven dollars for the kit that was purported to be free. he was only paying "shipping and handling".

We received the kit in October, with the seven dollars being debited from our bank account through a Mastercard debit card. In December, a charge from Internet Speedway showed up on our debit card again. This time, for $69.99.

I called their number to find out where the charge came from and they informed me that we were paying for the kit we received in October. I asked if the kit cost $69.99. She informed me that the cost of the kit totalled $360!!

Outraged, I cancelled the debit card to ensure no further charges. The $69.99 is gone, in addition to the overdrafts that this unexpected charge incurred. DO NOT FALL VICTIM!!

The sales people maybe shady but I know for a fact that ISpeedway has all terms on their web page and in the paperwork. If people were smart they would do background checks on things before they give their credit card info. These people make me sick crying about the fact that they didn't do a little research and they got suckered into paying for crap. Look everyone should know by now that nothing is ever free and there is always fine print. Be smart and when you mess up don't cry about it!

To whomever filed the rebuttal for this report. I worked for internet speedway....well not really. I worked for a company hired by a company hired by internet speedway to take orders from people responding to a radio advertisement. My job was quality control of calls at this call center. I listened to 90 percent of the calls coming to this facility marked as "sales" by our representatives (for most programs).

When we recieved a new program, such as internet speedway, we in quality control would recieve instruction on how to verify these sales. Guess what, I was told that we were not to verify internet speedway. This means the reps had a free hand to say whatever and this company was billing them based on this with NO ONE verifying the sale. A few months went by with this program still no one verifying the sales and one day my boss says, hey we want you to listen to 10% of the internet speedway calls.

Guess what I found, the reps were only saying that the customer would be charged 9.99 for shipping with nothing else and that they would get to try the program for this price. No mention what so ever of any other charges. Just for fun (because i was not instructed to do so) I listened to calls for about the last week at that point. not a single mention of the continuing monthy charge for this program on any calls that were marked as sales. The place i worked at was what people would refer to as a "boiler room" and WE discontinued the contract with internet speedway. That is a testament to how much of a rip off this company really is.

Why u think they based in Arizona? The laws there are so flimsy that they would be shut down in any other state. You were most definately "ripped off" I am assured of that. I want to add that a person from internet speed way was at the facility and PERSONALLY trained our reps on this program, this was no failing on our part. He could have requested at any time for quality control of these sales, or listened to them himself. If someone from internet speedway is reading this, u can forget about sueing me because I "took care" of my confidentiality agreement with this company before I left.

Every client has to go through this verification before becoming a member with ISpeedway everything is recorded as well (NAME) Todays date is (DATE) and I just want to confirm that you are ordering the ISpeedway program today for only $9.95 shipping and handling is that correct? After 30 days if you decide to keep the internet speedway program, it will be just 5 monthly payments of $69.99 plus any applicable state taxes ok? If during your 30 day test drive you are not completely satisfied, you can request your return autherization number and instructions and owe nothing more. Otherwise, the program is yours to keep at the end of your 30 day trial and on day 31, the first of 5 monthly payments of $69.99 will be billed to your credit card and your priviledge to return the internet speedway has ended.
