Internet Treasure Chest ripoff Irvine California
The Internet Treasure Chest is one of the biggest "Televised Scams" which definitely should be recognized, as such. I have made several calls to be refunded for a pay pal account with no resolution as of yet. Three weeks and counting.
How many Customer Service Refund Reps do they have? I spoke to two different ones Doug and Ned which will promise you the world or should I say "refund" and yet you will come up with zero.How many calls must you make to them? What is the lucky number? I have tried about 7.
My last call today 4-19-02 again with Ned who promises me that it takes a week to be refunded $199.00, when it takes only 24 hours to debit me. This also was his second promise, in which before he said I would receive an e-mail in one to two days stating a refund. I have filed a complanint with BBB.
Please do not submit to the Search Engines List they supply, becasue no one will ever find you, all your time will be spent on submitting.
Consumer beware in this "Chest" there is no treasure and you are guaranteed to hit "rock bottom".

THIS IS JUST A FOLLOW-UP ON THE REPORT FILED 4/19/02. FIRST REFUND GIVEN ME WAS FOR THE TREASURE CHEST KIT, RETURN TO THEM CERTIFIED BEFORE THE (30) DAYS WERE UP. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS REFUNDED $199 FOR THE PAY PAL ACCOUNT. PLEASE TAKE NOTE I FILED A REPORT WITH BBB, RIPOFF REPORT.COM, MY BANK, CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IRVINE, WHICH NEVER RESPONDED, AND MADE PHONE CALLS AND WROTE E-MAILS. JUST A SUGGESTION DO WHATEVER IT TAKES JUST GET YOUR MONEY BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE. DON'T LET THEM KEEP A DIME THAT IS NOT LEGITIMATELY THEIRS.
