I was driver for same company from August 2017 to March 2018. Left company after giving a two week notice and turning in equipment in in great shape to office. Was told to wait 45 days for them to go over everything and then check was in mail. Go figure no check . I’m owed for last two weeks pay for seven runs that were completed as if I was continuing employment. Right at 2500.00 and that not counting two people that left after me that hasn’t received their last checks either. Just hope this gets out to all the other ( dime a dozen) drivers that he thinks he can cheat! Thanks and good luck!!

Let's set this straight

#5UPDATE Employee ..inside information

I usually wouldn’t even bother to reply to such a post, however I feel, IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THESE KIND OF GAMES, YOU’RE GOING TO WIN THOSE KINDS OF PRIZES

First, I will start with the black and white:

Yes you were hired to work for $900 a week

So let’s move to the math:

November 13, 2015 to February 19th, 2016

14 weeks total. Should come out to $12,600.

Now, you took 3 weeks off. So $12,600 - $2,700 = $9,900

On top of that, Of those three weeks, you went to California twice. You were paid those weeks.

So , $900 x 2 = $1,800. Deduct that from your alleged $2,700 discrepancy. Balance $900.

From November to December you took ADVANCES in the Amount of $3,400. Subtract that from the alleged $900 balance I owe you. -$2,500 in my favor.

So we can put this in perspective:

From November to February you did 16,581 miles. Divide that by 11 weeks, (because you took 3 off) That equals 1,507 miles a week. At $900 week that equals 60 cents a mile! But, let’s say you worked all 14 weeks. You would have only driven 1187 miles a week. That comes to 76 cents a mile!!!

You claim I owe you $2,700. But, the black and white numbers that I showed you, says you actually owe me $2,500.

I give you the opportunity to come back to work and make payment arrangements, and you storm out and tell me you will see me in court.

Yes, I have been sued 25 times. Actually, 31 times. Ask me how many times I have lost. NONE. 31 times, I have been through this similar situation. You rant, you rave, and you take me to court. I not only win, I actually end up getting a judgement for payment from those who filed.

So post what you want. You know I am all about CONSTITUTIONAL FREEDOM. However, remember that there are ramifications.

Slander: -Verb - make false and damaging statements about (someone).

Libel: - Noun - a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.

Check Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Chapter 2739. It should be enlightening. So once again I say:

IF YOU WANT TO PLAY THESE KIND OF GAMES, YOU’RE GOING TO WIN THOSE KINDS OF PRIZES
