Interstate Recovery Service Inc Received a letter on 4/19/18 saying they were debt colletors that I owed $759.05 for a magizine company named Publishers Service Inc. I have had no magazines from this company and entered into no contract from this company. I asked for the magazines phone number or email but they refused to give me either. I have 1 company for magazines called mags4u which is legitimate but this company I've never even ever heard of so I told them I would not pay a cent unless they gave me a phone # or email to reach this magazine company. Dear consumer, We apologize for for any confusion. This customer had placed an order with our company on 2/20/18. She made 1 payment, then the credit card she provided us for billing declined and her account was sent to our third party collections because we had already paid for her service up front and she was setup to pay this back on monthly payments of $39.95.
Their name is Interstate Recovery and the customer did provide her ssn and date of birth i addition to employer and marital status. The customer has never contacted us since the order was placed, if she had we would have contacted IRSI and had all collection action stopped. As of today we have done that now and her account has been cancelled with no further financial obligation. Please feel free to contact us is there is anything else we can help with.
