My experience with Interval Property Management the same as others that I've read online.
They called, offered to rent my timeshare week out for me ($2200-2600), they also said they'd take 6 of my getaways "off my hands" and rent those for $1200-1625. They pulled the whole "6 month guarantee".. well 3,4,5 months pass without a single phone call from them or anyone with an offer for my property. Just before the 6 month mark I call and ask if they have any information for me, they say they haven't had any offers on the property, I asked about the 6 month "guarantee" they said their guarantee is that they will re-list the property for another six months and put it on their "high priority" list.

I guess I was to naive at the time to check the details on the "6 month guarantee".. everyone beware of that,, ASK FOR DETAILS, and everything in writing.
Well shortly after that phone call I got a call from another rep from the company asking me to list my property, they weren't aware that my property was already listed with them!

Fast forward a couple months and I call back again attempting to speak with the original rep (Renee Haynes) who I was told had been handling my property from the beginning and had taken a "special interest" in making sure it would be rented. I was passed off to another person (Iris Kelly). Iris told me she has been the one handling my account and she assured me that she is working diligently to make sure its rented for me. She then suggested I lower the asking price, she said that may help.. At this point I was not happy at all, I told her I just wanted my money back because she and her company were wasting my time. She said that was not possible and the only way to get a refund would be if the property was rented out through another company before interval secured a renter for me.

So I told her to lower the price,, wondering why they just had not taken the initiative to call me months in advance to ask if they could lower the price because it could possibly help secure a renter faster.
So now here I am on the 11th month with 3 weeks to go before I hit the year mark. I'll be calling miss Iris Kelly in a few minutes to again see why I haven't gotten a single phone call from her, her company, or a single renter for my property which she assured me was a high priority for her.
So that's my interval experience, take it for what its worth.

If anyone has any questions or any information on how I can sew these people or join a class action lawsuit please let me know
regards

Money Refunded

I tried for 4 days to get in touch with a real person at Interval last week, each time I called I got the receptionists and she would inform me that the customer service staff was in a meeting or on another line so she would take my information and they'd call me back. I'm overseas so I can't receive calls.

I did get a nice email after a couple days saying there were still no offers on my property and they'd continue to list it until they found a renter.

After not getting anywhere with the company I contacted the Florida Attorney General's Office to see what my options were. They took down the company's information and mine, then recommended I contact the Florida Division of consumer services (850-488-2221) www.800helpfla.com

I contacted the D.C.S. and explained the situation, they looked up Interval and found that there were 4 complaints filed against them in the last year. Three of the complaints were settled satisfactorily and One was "other" whatever that means.

They informed me I could go to their website and file a formal complaint against IPM then they'd contact them for me and attempt to resolve the situation.

I responded to the email I got from Interval and informed the nice person who sent the email about what I had been through with the company and I was prepared to file a formal complaint with Florida D.C.S. and I'd be willing to not do that if they'd simply refund my money ($852.00).

The next email I got was them saying the money would be refunded to my credit card within 72hours.

So for me the situation is resolved but I would highly recommend other people avoid this company.

If you want to sell or rent your time share use private listings and NEVER pay a company up front with the promise that they will sell or rent it for big bucks.
