I have owned this pool just about one year. the pool ring leaks air. I have to fill this ring twice a day. I have searched for the leak many times. With no luck. Then this week I was out filling it up AGAIN. I found the leak. It is in the seam. when I told Intex the problem after failed emails Of the leak and where it is located. I was told at first take it back to where you bought it. well they said to called intex And intex said again return it to the store. I then again asked what should I do when Walmart said no on a return of this pool?

Intex told me send a copy of the proof of purchse. a one foot square from the bottom of the pool the drain plug. and the intex label on the side of the pool.

I was like are you being for real? He then said this is when we will deside if you can get your pool replaced....

So I would like to say that intex pools do not cover what they sell. You s**t out of luck if you fall victim like I did.

First of all, if you had called the company, and you had told them you bought the pool a year ago, they would have let you know that the pool is only covered for 90 days. So cutting up your pool probably won't make a difference. If you've had it for almost a year, how is anyone supposed to know what really happened to your pool (neglect, wear and tear, winter storage). If you're gonna place blame on a company, make sure you have a legitimate reason to, and not just because you think someone (but yourself) should take reponsibility for money spent on a vinyl pool and having it last only a year. Intex does cover what they sell, but they make sure it is as close to a "defect" as possible, which is what every company covers.
