Complaint Review: Intimate Glow

This company is a SCAM!!!! I requested a 'Free Trial' just to see how it worked and it never came. I figured "Oh well - nothing gained, nothing lost." HOWEVER...

The following month a charge of $40.00 appeared on my credit card statement! I tried to contact company - they have no phone number. So I sent them an email requesting to immediately cancel my account and refund my money. They never responded. I sent two more over the next three weeks (Luckly I saved them ALL) and never got a response!

Sure enough I got a SECOND $40.00 charge from them the following month! I was getting a little irate, but I wanted to ensure I was following the proper channels so I sent another THREE emails - EACH demanding SOME FORM OF RESPONSE. They could not even acknowledge the reciept of my emails, but they sure wanted my money. Supposedly they were sending me some type of pill or something - I never got anything in the mail from them.

Well, I called the issuing bank and proceeded to fill out a claim against them to get my money back as it was unauthorized. The bank complied and notified the company. Soon after that I got the free trial (ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER) and they decided to fight the charges!

I have now been fighting with them through my bank for almost 6 months. They keep denying my claim stating their website stated it was an automatic plan - PHOOEY! Even so.... Why didn't they cancel me when I FIRST REQUESTED IT? I would have taken my licks and been $40 poorer and moved on with my life. But they ignored my emails... STAY AWAY!!!!
