I fell into the same trap a Mr Leparc and should have done basic research. 

The simple fact a company has not one review on Google after 6 years of existence is a big red flag. 

I just wanted the Molteni pieces so bad that I went ahead.. and I coudl bore you with details but the way it went down is similar to what has been discribed by their other customer. 

In my case, I'm not going to argue forever, as tehy clearly do not care about their e-reputation- just use your common sence.. 
if they were serious they would not insult or tell hard to believe stories about someone who they admit purchased from them, erase complaints, ...but put facts forward. 

I won't waste more time on the internet and our US legal system to bring these conartists down. 

Their tactics are to always respond quickly is just a means to get you to purchase (in my case I was weary of searching) and then make up any possible excuses to not deliver. 

Legal is the only way to stop the scam, as I'm sure they always change names. 

My attorney will be in touch with former customers for a potential class action. Please contact me thru this site.

Like the above commenter, I also had a great experience using Intirium.  I first contacted them to get pricing on a sofa and lamp, and after excellent communication back and forth, ended up ordering, a bookcase, coffee tables, a lamp, a vase, a side table, and... I think that was it.  In any case, a large of amount of items from numerous Italian manufacturers (Cappellini, B&B Italia, Minotti, & Living Divani), that totalled around $20K altogether.  I should mention that my MANY emails to Nadia were always answered quickly and professionally, even after changing my mind about the sofa after having placed the order.  

In the end the goods arrived when expected (I think it was even under the quoted 16 week timeframe to San Francisco), however there was a problem.  Despite their best assurances from the manufacturer one of the items which was supposed to be a numbered piece was not.  Instead of brushing me off they refunded a portion of my order, and I ended up buying another side table and had it shipped by air - also a great transaction.  

In any case, I can tell you that if problems occur (which may invariably happen due to the nature of the business) Intirium will make sure that it's taken care of and you won't be left in a lurch.  I'd recommend them without hesitation and am planning on using them again to finally get that sofa I wanted.

I did my homework before I bought from Intirium as well. The company was not offended to provide me references (and I spoke to three of them) and I did my own investigation through the fraud department of the company I used to manage. All was clear for me to make my purchase. I put an order for a few italian pieces (Flexform, Molteni, Minotti, Foscarini, Boffi) and I received very detailed instructions about the order and its T&C's. All very professional. My expectations were set right -- about the time it would take to receive the goods, partial payment -- and they arrived exactly as promised. The service was excellent, the price was better than any other retail shop in the US by a long shot (and I did my homework here as well) and the delivery uneventful. I was so happy with the experience that I put additional orders and recommended to friends. There was an incident with an erroneous order (not a fault of Intirium but the Italian vendor) and it was dealt with determination and entirely to my satisfaction in an adequate and realistic amount of time. This case only strengthen my trust in Intirium. One is bound to have issues from time to time and it is through the resolution of these problems that it is possible to really measure the integrity of the vendor. I am flabbergasted with the words used to described Intirium and its professionals. In my experience it is a serious company of serious people with a fantastic business model that benefits both the Italian manufacturers and the buyers/ consumers in a variety of countries -- and I am sure that I am one of many customers that feel the same way!
