Intl Move David- Manager Rogue Moving Company Kept $3500 and held items for ransom North Miami Beach, Florida
Intl Move, International Movers has kept over $3,500 of my hard earned money for nothing! I am only willing to accept Most of my money back. Intl Move is a rogue mover. The price they initially quoted to me to move my items was about $3500, then after I paid them this amount via credit card. Intl Move hired a local moving company to pick up my household from storage, pack and warehouse it.
I paid this company two full months of storage fees, while David of Intl. Move began demanding $6000 more in addition to the $3500 already paid. With regret and frustration, I agreed to pay the additional $6000, but then David of Intl Move stated that he now would not accept my credit card payment and wanted CASH only wired to him directly. I went back and forth with this company for two Full months, and Intl Move kept refusing to accept credit card payment and only wanted CASH.
I refuse and will continue to refuse to send cash to a company that has already kept over $3500 of my money and holding my items for a $6000 ransom. Who would send cash to such a company? Only after Intl Move's constant refusals to refund me back my money nor accept my full credit card payment, then and only then did I seek outside help in this matter. The FMC stated they could not make this company give me a refund and David of Intl Move only wanted CASH after raising the initial price of the move by doubling the amount I was to pay in order to complete the move with them.
Intl Move actually did not want to release my items to me, but the local mover that had my items had mercy on me, so I paid him directly for storing my items until I could hire another mover to complete my move. Only after two full months of trying to negotiate with this unwilling company, I contacted the FMC for help, and although the case worker stated he was "very" familiar with this company, the FMC could not make them refund my money nor make them accept the amount they required on credit (although they advertised that they accept credit and accepted my initial payments by credit)I decided to hire another company to complete my move and to go to my bank for help in getting this resolved.
I am still requesting a refund. According to Intl Move's own receipt they only paid the local moving company that actually moved my items from storage unit to warehouse only $200. So, I want a full refund from Intl Move for $3300 which is the price charged minus the amount they paid to the local mover. This company will fail with such rogue business practices that defraud the public. I was defrauded and I will never give up trying to get monies back from this rogue company. If you look up the definition of a rogue company this is everything that Intl Move did to me.
They gave me an amount to move my items before seeing my items. Then they hired out another company to pick up my items, then they told that company to hold my items from me and doubled the price initially quoted. Intl Move went a step further by requesting a CASH only payment once they had my items. To date I never seen the local mover or the place where my items were held. But, I thank God the local mover was professional and when David of Intl Move hired an entirely different company to go and remove my items from this local mover, they refused.
This is the only reason I have my items to date. This professional mover held my items safely and I paid them for storage until I found a real international moving company that was based in California. This company picked up my household from the local mover without any problems and they accepted credit cards as sdvertised for the Full amount of the move! Intl took advantage of the fact that I was no longer in the state where my items were and tried to go behind my back and hold my items hostage, which is rogue!
Thank God there are still some professional moving companies out there or my items would be destroyed or lost as I see the other complaints show Intl Move did to them. I will never give up wanting a refund from Intl Move for doing nothing for me. I had to pay a different mover to complete the job, and I need my money back. I have no reason to lie, What advantage is that? Intl Move should not be allowed to keep ripping off people. After I reported Intl Move to the BBB recently for keeping my money, they stated I lied.
If you want the truth just read what others say on ripoffreport.com, there are other people who were defrauded by this company too. I am not the only victim, and if no one stops them I will not be the last. I am just very sorry I did not read ripoffreport.com before paying this company $3500 of my hard earned money. I actually believed their website advertisements that stated they accept credit cards, are licensed by FMC and a member of BBB. How stupid of me.
