INTUIT, QUICKBOOKS Misleading Advertising, License Scam, Intuit rips off Mountain View California
Intuit advertises the use of their products as a purchase of software. However, one is actually purchasing a non-transferrable licensing right to use a copy of the software. Though I acknowledge a software creator's right to license a product, etc., I believe the advertising should not mislead one into thinking they are purchasing a product they may opt to transfer to another person.
When I contacted the licensing group (full email correspondence posted at (((ROR redacted))) ) they acknowledged the licensing issued is buried within their EULA and that they know most people never read it.
