Intuit TurboTax, TurboTax Scam ripoff - FREE to try mailed CD - you must pay to print or efile. Internet
Sent FREE copy of TurboTax to try. After reading through carefully and you must pay AFTER you've procesed your whole return and either try to print it or efile. Hope this saves someone some time befoer getting hooked. Let them know that we don't appreciate this type of business tactic!

The packaging clearly states that you have to buy it. Nowhere on the package does it say it is free to use. Nowhere.
I recieved the same software, and am looking at it right now.

No ripoff here. Just another case of someone unable or unwilling to READ!

work that way. The free trial version is normally crippled in some fashion - in other words it does NOT do everything that the PAID version will do.
In this case, it will not print or electronically file your return unless you pay for the full feature program.
This is not a ripoff. IF the trial version did everything the full version did, what would be your incentive to purchase the program? Answer: none.
