Credit Solutions Ripoff stole thousands of dollars rude customer service that give you the run around thieves who are in breach of contract expensive do not help reduce your debt at all Addison Texas

I enrolled with creditsolutions.com in March of 2006. I have participated in this program for a year and have payed thousands of dollars for their assistance in reducing my debt.

In the beginning this company claims to be able to reduce your debt and stop harassing phone calls. This is a lie. I received numerous calls from debt collectors on a daily basis. These collectors even contacted my family members. Credit solutions was supposed to be the buffer between the creditors and me. They were not.

Several creditors will not work with companies or even speak with companies like credit solutions. I was not informed of this upon enrollment. I was guaranteed that my debt would be resolved in 3 years and I would never face legal issues regarding my debt while enrolled in their program.

I was served papers one morning and immediately called credit solutions so they could handle the matter. The matter was not handled and I eventually had my wages garnished. This was the last straw.

I decided to unenroll in the program and demanded a refund of over $5000 of the money I had paid them to do a job that they failed miserably at. I received the run around on the phone for an entire day. I was spoken rudely to, hung up on, and transferred numerous times to only end up leaving a message with an answering service.

Once I was finally able to unenroll in their bogus program I was told I would be notified in 72 hours of whether or not my refund was "approved". I waited over a week for an answer. I called everyday wanting to speak to the person in charge and was never able to.

I never received a refund and am now in more debt than I began with. These people need to be put out of business.

After the horrible treatment I received from Credit Solutions I quickly filed complaints with the Rip Off Report and the BBB of Texas. About a week later I was contacted by a credit solutions employee regarding the complaint I filed with the BBB. She offered me all of my money back minus $630 if I retracted the complaint. I gladly took the offer, retracted the complaint and went on my merry way.



About a month after this instance I received another phone call from a different credit solutions employee offering me free services to settle all of my debts. I thanked them for the offer but explained that I recently had to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy to do the worsened financial state they had put me in. She apologized for this and said have a nice day. I received another phone call from the same employee offering me the remainder of my money back if I retracted the complaint from the Rip Off Report. I received the money about a week later.



I hate that I had to go through all of this in order to get my money back. They did return it, but after a lot of hassle and emotional distress on my part. At least they ended up doing the right thing.

Call the customer service number and ask to speak to the manager. 800-648-4590 Tell them that you are still waiting on your refund and if nothing is going to be done about this that you will contact the FTC (federal trade commission) and also the Texas Attorney General and file a lawsuit against them. You will most likely have a check overnighted to you. I worked there for quite some time and have seen this done on numerous occasions. Also if you read some of the other posts, thats exactly what people where doing.
