Direct Buy Direct Buy Knoxville TN - BEWARE TO ALL - DONT ATTEND - SCAM - RUDE PEOPLE - BIG MONEY TO JOIN & NO REFUNDS POSSIBLE - OUTDATED PRODUCTS RIPOFF Knoxville Tennessee

I just want to reconfirm that everything which Jerry from Knoxville Tennessee stated below is 100% accurate. I do not know Jerry in any way, but my wife and I experienced the same rude treatment about a month prior from this same company in Knoxville. If I would have found the rip-off report then, I too would have let others know about this no good company sooner! This company is very deceitful and when I asked too many questions that hit a sore spot they immediately became very nasty with us. The salesman was very unprofessional and told us two different times to "HIT IT", meaning to hit the door! We both were dumbfounded by this arrogant little a-hole's behavior, and to beat it all the owner, Todd Sandberg, was in the same room as this was happening and he just walked away to the back to avoid what was happening! We couldn't believe that an owner and people paid to be in the sales business would be so rude to potential customers.

Besides the above, which is enough to make any customer leave and never want to return, there were several other things that bothered me about this company: 1. Once they get your money in hand there are NO REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON, not even the next day..how can this even be legal? 2. Once you leave you the bldg and sales presentation, you can never come back again to try and join...in other words A HIGH PRESSURE SALES TACTIC TO MAKE YOU PAY RIGHT THEN AND THERE! 3. On top of the THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS you pay up front and HUNDREDS LATER EACH YEAR, they still get you for 6% MORE FOR MOST OF THE ITEMS THEY SELL IN THE FUTURE...they say you are getting the items for cost, but they benefit 6% more of this figure for each and every member..multiplied by the tens of thousands of purchases! 4. When I asked about current and new released products being available, like new electronics that have just come out on the market, they could not give me a direct answer and the salesman stumbled with his words trying to get around the question..I'd say they do get these products but only months or years later and after newer and more popular items are introduced...in other words, YESTERDAY'S OLD CRAP AT A DISCOUNT...you can do better on ebay!

I have the unfortunate daily job of having to deal with numerous cons, liars and crooks in my line of business and I can smell one and see one from a mile away. I can tell you from my vast personal experience that these people at Direct Buy of Knoxville Tennessee reek of dishonesty and deceit. DON'T GET CAUGHT IN THEIR WEB!

My wife and I were building a house and joined Direct Buy in Knoxville, Tn. We attended the sales pitch and reviewed the catalogs for the products we already knew we wanted and the best price we had been able to get. We found the savings were going to be thousands of dollars even after the $2500.00 membership. We joined and saved well over $20,000.00 with everything we purchased for the construction and furnishing of our new house.

We would first get estiments for a product, ie., hardwood flooring, and when we told the contractor the Direct Buy price, we were told that the price was less then his cost. That is just one example, and not everything at Direct Buy was the best price. Direct Buy is for the person who is planning to spend at least $30,000.00, the more you have to spend, the more you can save, but you have to be willing to to do your own research and comparison pricing.
