International Profit Associates BEWARE!!!! IPA preys on businesses that need help, only to be that final nail in the coffin Buffalo Grove Illinois

Anyone even remotely familiar with the business practices of this parasitic company will appreciate the dilema I find myself involved in. All of their techniques, as I reviewed them on this website, were what their field investigators employed against me; finally pressuring me to sign a contract at 5:00 PM on a Friday afternoon.

After pouring over the dozens of unfavorable postings, I quickly posted a letter to them, exercising my 'right to recsind' within 3 days of signature & thought I had narrowly dodged a bullet.

When the two associates showed up at my door (they waste no time in going for whatever scraps they might be able to scrape up) Monday morning, I refused them entry, gave them a copy of the letter I had faxxed to their main office and sent them on their way.

They came back a couple of hours later with, believe it or not, an invoice for almost $6,500.0! I refused to accept it and find myself now being threatened with a default judgement being entered against me unless I can get myself to Chicago to make my case before the judge. True to their reputation, I have received this fax on April 30th, demanding resolution by May 1st (tomorrow).

I am attaching my response to their attempt at piracy only to give others the courage to stand up to these unscrupulous vultures...

Mr. Lubicz:

I am sorry that your company has decided to pursue this matter to the unconscionable ends outlined in your invoice dated April 7, 2008 & your fax received today. As I stated in my letter, faxed to your office on 4/7/08, I was cancelling our contract without services being rendered within the 3 day right to rescind statute governing contractual agreements. I also sent the original to your office by registered mail that same day. I am attaching a copy for your convenience, in the event you were unaware of this previous correspondence.

I regret any inconvenience your company's rush to invoicing may have caused you, but it is they who have established this model for extortion and I stand by my position that no monies are owed as, in the final analysis, no services were rendered.

I was an employee with this company and have "hands-on" experience with the billing of clients and customers. International Tax Advisors does not allow their employees take lunches or breaks thoughout the day, an employee is not allowed to leave the premises at any time for any reason. If you stepped away from your desk to walk outside to a fresh breath of air - you were told to get back to work. The parking lot for the employees was about four and a half blocks away from the company (imagine that in the winter time). I would not recommend anyone to work for this organization. It's a grimmy, dingy and dirty environment to work in. The 1250 Barclay location is a little nicer, cleaner and a less dusty environment. The employees are very unfriendly, cold and racist. Just imagine, if you kept a dog in a cage for 8-9 hours it would be unfriendly and cold too. The employees are so miserable there, they barely even smile. It's a total HELL HOLE. There sales tactics are bogus, they over-charge clients for services they could perform themselves (and the customers don't know it). They over-billed and over-charge clients (I handled all the billing for the Tax-Defense area) and that particular department would double bill clients for services I know had not been performed. I am sure all the other departments did the same. I felt really bad about doing that, but I was told to do it anyway. The rate they charge some customers for their services was totally ridiculous and outrageous for a procedure requiring only a phone call to settle the case. They claim they only work with individuals who is has least $10,000.00 in debt, that's because they want to make sure they can beat them out of a least $8,000.00 of it. I've seen it done. International Tax Advisors/International Profit Associates/IBA - should be put out business and investigated. No one is doing anything about this company - I believe that someone is getting paid to keep this company is business. Why are they able to treat their employees and the fool the public like this and make all this money and get away with it? The company has over 600 complaints with the Better Business Bureau from former employees and customers. Why are they still in business and why aren't they being investigated? No one cares that's why. How are they able to get away with no allowing employees to take a lunch or break? Isn't that illegal? I had to finally leave the company because of the physically and racial harassment I was receiving daily. The so-called management staff runs the "prison camp" and they laugh and have "alcoho"l meetings daily while the regular support staff sits outside glued to their desk working like "hebrew slaves." ITA has left a mental scar - tha't canot be healed." The torture I experienced at this place is unhealable. I would not recommend this company to anyone - please do not give them your money! You certainly would never want to work there. You will regret it! It is a bogus company who has fraudulent tax practies and focusing on their financial gain only. They are low down and dirty people - who makes their money off the middle income and desparate people who think they have no where else to turn. A simple call to IRS themselves could resolve their issues easily. The same thing that ITA does - nothing special - about what they do. I swear on that. A simple phone call, juggle a couple of pieces of paper around and that's it. I have documentation of what they do and how they handle client cases, the procedure required to close a case. So simple, the most important part of handling the case would be phone calls to IRS back and forth. Nothing special about that. They makes thousands of dollars just for that. I could go on and on about this company. I am collecting a lot of data and information of every and all complaints against this company to file a civil legal law suit against IPA/ITA. Someone has got to do something. Since leaving the company, I have harrassed by management, denied me of my livihood income and have since continued to harassed me with sending harrassent papers I signed and etc. ITA/IPA/IBA is being ignored and is getting away with cheating people out of their hard earned money regardless of how many complaints the public is receiving on this company - No one cares I guess that human beings are being treated this way. What does that say about our government and legal system.
