International Profit Associates Employers should listen to employees! Buffalo Grove Illinois
Please listen to people in your company that are willing to help if you don't have time to research yourself!!!! IPA came into our company after the new owner took over. I as an employee ask the "consulant" for a business card. He was reluctant to give me one however he did. I checked out IPA inorder to try and protect new owner. I after some hesitation approached the new owner with the information I'd obtained and asked if he had even checked with the BBB. He said yes and found no complaints?? I told him there were over 400 and had printed over 50 supporting documents including court records of the owner and founder of IPA. I asked if he wanted them and he said ok. He continued to work with these people to the tune of 65-75 thousand dollars. They already had his ego so inflated he would not listen. They required post dated checks.
I was approached with some of the most rediculious bidding numbers we were to use for our sub contracting business. I told the guy he obviousally had NO concept of our type of business and if we had to bid at the numbers given to cover overhead and make a profit then lock the doors because you'll never get a job at 80-100 percent gross profit? He asked if I could prove this and my responce was "it will prove itself!!" Furthermore, " Why would you give any employee the whole profit structure of the company" as we as estimators could go to work for competition armed with valuable information.
I told the guy to find ways to cut over head and work from a different prospective than his current one as it wasn't rocket science to see our overhead was way too high if the numbers he came up with were accurate. He never spoke to me again and we still use the same bidding method as before. He left, we are in debt and owner still has an ego. ASK the people around you for advice if you as an owner can't do the leg work yourself. Employees maybe smarter than you think. Had I of charged money for my FREE advice maybe he would of listened!

I just want to take the time to thank everyone that has reported this company on this site. I am a very good salesperson that has worked for extremely reputable companies over the years. I am in the real estate business which everyone knows is not doing well, so, I thought about changing careers until the market recovers.
I posted my resume on careerbuilders.com with IPA and had a return email the following day. The very nice lady said that I had been selected out of approx. 25000 other resume's and I had the initial interview with her. She really appealed to my ego. She then told me that Jeff would be calling me the following day for a second interview.
I received all of the information on the company and, to be honest, I was very impressed. I was studying up on the company so that I could impress Jeff the following day when, I decided to go to the BBB website and check them out. I am so glad that I did. It then made me go to this website to see what other people thought.
Thank you to all of those who gave me the "Heads Up" and saved me from discrasing myself to professional people that would have been taken advantage of.
