International Profit Associates If they harass me one more time, there will be a hit out!!! Buffalo Grove Illinois
I own a small roofing business in El Paso, Texas. I began getting calls from IPA saying that they could help me restructure my company, make more money, and find me qualified help. I started laughing & told them I wasn't interested. (I laughed because there is no such thing as a qualified roofer) The calls continued. Then IPA started to show up at my office unannounced, and acting like my best friend. I was furious. They kept saying that they had an appointment, but8 they never made one. I asked them to leave me alone, and I wasn't interested. The calls kept coming. I started screaming at them..more calls, I yelled "Please leave me alone!" more calls, Then I finally blew my top, cussed at them, threatened them with legal action, and slammed the phone down.. Guess what. They called again!! What can I do, if anything to stop this harassment??

I have had the same problem with idiots at IPA.
First, if you have a computer, set it up to send faxes to them over and over.
They will be calling begging you to stop tying up theit phone line. That's when you cut a "deal" with them.
I have also called and demanded they remove my number from their database.
Then I get this Kissa** letter from a Richard N. Belcher (probably a bogus name) telling me they do not want to waste my time of theirs, blah, blah, blah. But he can be reached at 866-538-0668 Ext. 11075.
You can also set up an appointment and then have the police waiting for them.
They hate to be set-up.
Good luck!!!

First, file a complaint with your State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau. Then file a complaint with your telephone company that this company is harassing you. Not sure what they will say. You can also file a complaint with the FCC - Federal Communication Commission at fcc.gov. Also, the FTC which is the Federal Trade Commission. They have an online form to file a complaint at ftc.gov.
Get a copy of the Miami Herald story printed this last Sunday - you can get it online too. Just Google Miami Herald and take it to your local paper to print. You can add your personal story about the harassment you have received.
The more small business owners who know how ruthless IPA is, the less opportunity they have to add to their list of Marks.
