bait and switch scam! I came to playa for their 3 day no worries NO PRESSURE to view houses. i thought i would take time to find my perfect condo HOW WRONG I WAS

it started off with the agent named Mr Burgoyne asking me REPEATEDLY how much money i had, how much i was worth. i felt like an animal on an auction block. i felt the scam from the moment he picked me up at the airport. he was asking very specific questions.

they acted like they owned me! in the car ride from the airport michael kept commenting on how nice my georgetown ring was. i was completely taken aback when he asked if he could HAVE IT.  yes thats right, he asked if he could HAVE MY college ring.  i was a women alone and i didnt know what to say.

investment properties mexico even told me that they can provide SPECIAL PRICES and SPECIAL VIP treatment. now i see why! so they can try to rob and steal any way they can!

so after seeking 3 condos with fake prices, sometimes even 200k MORE than what was listed on their website.. i decided to call it quits. condos listed for "amara 129,000 dollars, however they told me it was 300,000" condos in amada was 280,000, yet they said the new price was $750,000!

but michael WOULDNT LET ME GO without a visit to their HIGH PRESSURE SALES OFFICE. him and his boss , proceeded to try to push me into making an offer on a property. tried to show me their FAKE client videos and FAKE reviews. it was so fake it made me want to vomit.

reminded me of a timeshare but even more extreme and much much more to lose. VERY unsafe. they kept me there until almost 8.30 that evening. i started to get scared. i was alone and didnt know what to do or who to call. I was able to excape to the bathroom to make a phone call  just in time! thankfully i had kept on my cell phone a taxi man named pacos cell. i told him to come pick me up right away.

paco told me that this company has a TERRIBLE reputation of scamming. if it wasnt for paco's help i might not have made it out of there. who knows what could have happened. bait and SWITCH! they lured me to playa , lured me to their offices , in attempt to extract money from me and steal my ring! SCAMMERS!

they literally took what should have been a beautiful fun time for me to pick out an amazing condo ended up being a complete nightmare. i wasted TIME AND MONEY coming to playa . i feel like such a fool for falling for their antics and tactics. FAKE PRICES, FAKE FINANCING . COMPLETE LIES AND SALES . WORST than timeshares! just by re looking at their website all the warning signs are clearly there

STAY CLEAR. PROTECT YOUR MONEY AND TIME! SCAMMERS

Cindi, get in line. The crooked owner of IPM, Richard Houghton is a career criminal you met with. He stole a boat and moved to Mexico to avoid US prosecution.

Investment Properties Mexico is bad news! Richard Houghton also stole money from a lady named Susan Sidwell and had the audacity to try and pin it on his ex-partner and founder of IPM. He is also wanted for questioning in the disappearnce of a local attorney named Javier Camou Borquez who was set to testify afgainst him.

He is on borrowed time.
