Invoke Research Promised and Failed to Pay to participate in their 90 min research. Waltham Massachusetts
Beware of Invoke research !!!! . they do not pay what they promise after you participate and waste your 90 minutes with them.
Received email for an online research seasion in regards to their Juniper client and cloud computing services , Wayne was the moderateor , this 90 minute discussion session promissed 50$ depsited into your paypal account as soon as session was completed .
As soon as the session started the red flags went off as moderator Wayne asked everyone to prepare their Alaska Airlines miles club number to get the miles at the end of the session but after people confirmed online that they were promised 50$ via paypal deposit he promptly agreed to it .
Session lasted 90 minutes and was very involved as it required to read their slides and participate in the ongoing discussion , as soon as we received the last slide Mr. Wayne thanked us for participation and promptly ended the session without confirming a way to be reimbursed for what was promised . Invoke research list their company number on their website which no one ever answers , I've sent en email requesting a clarification and payment and received no response . This is a scam and if you like to waste your 90 minutes on the free research go ahead but you are not getting paid .......

I have NOT received payment from them either. It has been 7 weeks now, and the only email that I got from them they were telling me that they could not find me in their study. I have emailed them the thank you email that I received after I took the study and mail thanked me and told me to expect payment in 6 weeks. They have since been ignoring my emails! This site is a Scam!

I wish this was clarified before that payment takes several days or weeks . I received my payment from Invoke and this company is in good standing in my book . I can say that they paid as promised and they are 100 % legit . Thank You Invoke .

A Response from the moderator

Hello, this is Wayne (the moderator from the session this report is referencing). I just want to first express my sincere apologies for the miscommunication at the beginning of the session. It was a bit of text that I missed when I was first creating the text to welcome participants. When it was caught, I immediately let everyone know the $50 was the intended incentive.
Also, my apologies for not getting back to any inquiries you may have sent our way. Our intent is to respond promptly to inquiries so I will personally look into this.
When this individual was approached about participating in this session, the specific incentive terms laid out were that he/she would be paid within 6 weeks. The specific wording on the invite stated, “The incentive will be fulfilled via PayPal. You could expect to receive the notification for your incentive 6 weeks after completion of the live, online session”. However, our internal plan for this session is to pay out well before that. But, according to the information on this post, this complaint was posted 3 days after the session happened, which puts us well within the payment terms.
Our intent is to ensure our respondents have a very positive experience in our sessions so this is something we take very seriously at invoke.
