Complaint Review: IOLO Technologies

IOLO Technologies - Invalidated my license due to system error and will NOT help to get it back. Los Angeles California

A couple of weeks ago, my computer rebooted and all of the sudden, my antivirus and firewall were no longer valid. My license had been invalidated. I was prompted to renew my subscription to IOLO for $20 for a year. I did this. My license was STILL invalid. And they charged me twice. I called support (Long Distance!!!). I was told my money would be refunded and to uninstall and reinstall my software.

I did this. Same error. And on the website, it said that their problem had been resolved and that restarting your IOLO would do the trick. It didn't. Neither did uninstalling and reinstalling. I emailed them asking for someone to call ME as it was THEIR error and it wasn't exactly fair that i was paying for something that they themselves caused. Days passed with no response.

I finally got an email telling my my account was OK. It wasn't. Every email that I send them asking for them to call me is answered with instructions on how to download and install their product and assurance that my account is OK. I have been a customer for years, but this is the end. I will not renew and will NEVER purchase another IOLO product. I will do my best to disuade any and all people from giving this company any money, which they obviously do not appreciate.
