ios Telecom, IOSTLCO, Used their pay phone collect call service and ios telecom charged me $19 for a 1 minute LOCAL phone call. Do not give them your credit card because they will take advantage of you. How does 1 minute equate to $19 for a local phone call? They give you the run around saying that they have operator fees, government fees, taxes, etc. Palo Alto California
Last week I used ios telecom's collect call service. I was in the emergency room for quite some time that day feeling ill and my cell phone battery died on me. I needed a ride so I decided to use the ios telecom service to make a local phone call. I was on the phone for no more than 2 minutes max. I used their service twice that day and both calls were less than two minutes. I then get my bill on my credit card and my charges for using this company were $38. If I called across the world to make these two calls that might be somewhat understandable, BUT FOR A LOCAL PHONE CALL!!! I mean come on, how are these people getting away with this? Their customer service will tell you there are taxes, government fees, among other charges and it's understandable but $19 per minute? If these prices were advertised on the phone I would not have ever considered using their service. Learn from me and do not provide them with your credit card because they will make sure to set you back wtih a smile on their face.
